This is the same Alco Plant switcher # 5 as seen on the previous page. This photo was taken in 1987 at the Alco Plant in Schenectady, New York on the interchange track. "ALCO PRODUCTS" was written on the long hood.

National Railway Equipment has this RSD-1 for sale. Most likely it is a former USA unit. This would make a good Alco Museum piece since they were built for the USA,USN and USAF during WWII.
